Tuesday May 10

We started the day trying to find a place to eat breakfast. The town of Rouen is discribed as a bustling metropolis. We could find no places to park and no places to eat. After roaming around for about an hour in harrowing traffic, we found public parking that opened up to a city center with restaurants, museums and cafes. It allowed us our days entertainment and sustenance. I got yogurt and fruit for breakfast with a wonderful Latte and Randy settled for just the Latte as all the bread selections were more desserts than breakfast. Our barista spoke English and was kind enough to spell out the highlights on the walking tour which entertained us for the morning. We visited the Joan of Arch Museum which provided us with a 2 1/2 hour video tour that was quite good. Later in the day we learned our tenant's financing fell through on the sale of one of our rental houses and the other rental house we were getting ready for sale requires extensive foundation work. Such is the life of a Landlord. To offset this disappointment we had wine and dessert for dinner :)
