Sunday, May 8  Well this trip is definitely hexed. We arrive at our VRBO (Vacation Rental by Owner) in Roeun, France at 4:30PM—on time, with no one  to meet us and no access code. Ross from next door let us in his rental while Randy spent 2.5 hours on the phone with VRBO. The folks at VRBO  transferred Randy several times and each time he got disconnected. We finally got an offer from VRBO to get us a Hotel room at the Raddison for 2 nights because they couldn’t reach the host either. We headed off for dinner only to get a call from our host who asked us us to come back and she would let us in. We ate one of the worst Moroccan meals I have ever had, and by 8:45PM we got back to the rental where tardy Veronik, the host, let us in. The house is nice enough, but no breakfast and no washer and dryer. The back view overlooks Rouen.

 We woke up at 5 to get to our flight and still had a problem with the flight when we got there at 6 am. We finally got it straightened out. Our flight is going to Newark instead of Munich and then on to Houston.
